Native Garden Tour at Worthy Brewing

A beautiful native garden tour surrounding the Worthy Brewing building awaits you!

Join us on June 9th at 4:00 p.m. for a short guided tour with Lisa Sanco through the native plantings around Worthy Brewing. This is a chance to see established pollinator-friendly landscaping in action and learn what may work in your own garden to attract and support native bees, honey bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

The tour will focus on plants, garden design ideas, and practical takeaways for creating habitat that supports pollinators in Central Oregon.

Don't forget your camera or smartphone! The gardens, bees, native bees, butterflies, and other pollinators provide excellent opportunities to photograph. There will be volunteers available afterwards to help members get started with the iNaturalist app. If you have never used it before, this is a good opportunity to learn how to photograph, upload, and identify plants and pollinators.

For beekeepers, photography can be especially useful. By documenting what is blooming, when it blooms, and which pollinators are visiting those plants, we can help build a clearer picture of seasonal forage availability in Central Oregon.
