Hey yo Bend area beekeepers I'm looking for a little help here. I have 3 hives 2 of which have newly hatched and (hopefully) successfully mated queens which should start laying soon so they should be ok BUT, I also have one hive without a queen. I am re-queening this queenless hive next week but unfortunately the last open brood I saw in any of these hives was on May 31st, so just over 3 weeks ago. I still had some capped brood on the June 7th but no open brood or open brood pheromone for about 3 weeks now. Right now I don't see any eggs being played in my queen less hive so I'm just looking for a frame or two of open brood to suppress laying worker development until I can get the new queen installed and she can start laying.
